Anyways, Saw My best Friend's Wedding recently on HBO. Totally adore it!! Anwyas there was this one scene where Kimmy Wallace(Cameron Diaz) was talking to Julianne 'Jules' Potter ( Julia Roberts) about how she was kinda jealous initially knowing that Jules was Michael's (dermot Mulroney) bestfriend and how they're extremely close friends, considering their history together
yada yada yada...Thats when Kimmy says to Jules;
"He's got you on a pedestal and me in his arms"I never really could relate to that line until recently. Never really understood it till now.
I dunno if it's supposed to make anyone feel nice or romantic but it sure isn't. At least not to me.
It make me feel .... contradictory.
